Hey Friends and Families,

This week we are covering Parent SKILLZ 2: ATTUNEMENT

Know where your child is in their stage of development physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially so that you can understand what’s ‘developmentally appropriate.’ This involves getting inside your ‘child’s world’ and supporting it, rather than staying in the ‘adult world’ and trying to correct mistakes constantly. When it comes to fostering self-confidence and independence, ATTUNEMENT is a powerful word to remember!

Here’s a worksheet to help you build a stronger ATTUNEMENT with your child this week!
Download the worksheet here:

On the worksheet, I challenge you to become more ‘ATTUNED’ with your child by assessing three
‘strengths’ and three ‘areas of potential improvement’ for the following categories:
1. Physically
2. Intellectually
3. Emotionally
4. Socially
The goal is to become more ‘ATTUNED’ with your child by understanding them more through this
worksheet. Once you understand what areas to ‘prompt’ and what areas to ‘nurture’ you will become an even more effective parent!
Have fun while building Parent SKILL: ATTUNEMENT!
